Dextra Griptec® from InfraBuild Reinforcing is a full-performance (tension, compression, cyclic, fatigue) mechanical splice designed for the connection of concrete rebars (reinforcing bars) in sizes 12mm through to 40mm.

The Dextra Griptec® System supplied by InfraBuild Reinforcing is the most accomplished mechanical splice on the market: its patented extrusion process includes a systematic, non-destructive tensile test that performs a 100 per cent check on the bar end preparation.

Standard Dextra Griptec® splices are achieved by use of a standard female coupler and a standard male coupler of the matching size. Dextra Griptec® Standard Couplers provide an easy connection by bar rotation until full thread engagement. The Griptec® System is a roads authority approved system.
