Vale Ray Horsburgh AM

InfraBuild extends its deepest condolences to the family of our Acting Board Chairman and lead Independent Director, Mr Ray Horsburgh AM, following his passing at the weekend.

Mr Horsburgh was a highly-respected member of the Australian steel industry and enjoyed a decorated career with Australian Consolidated Industries. He spent 15 years as the CEO and Managing Director of Smorgon Steel Group, which in 2007 joined the group of businesses that would later become InfraBuild.

“Ray will be truly missed by everyone at InfraBuild. He was a trusted advisor and mentor to many. He was a strong advocate for our business and Australian manufacturing in general, and will be remembered fondly,” our CEO and Managing Director Vik Bansal said.
