A fresh delivery of rod arrived at our Acacia Ridge Terminal last week, transported via our Newcastle train service. This critical supply will be supplied to our Queensland based customers —continuing the seamless flow of steel through our supply chain.
Our Head of Manufacturing, Anthony Micallef visited the Acacia Ridge Mesh and Terminal teams following Cyclone Alfred, taking the opportunity to hear firsthand how our people worked together to support customers before and after the weather event. Their efforts, alongside the broader supply chain, ensured continued service despite the challenges.
“This visit was a great reminder of the teamwork and resilience across our business,” he said. “The way our teams came together to keep supply moving and support our customers before and after Cyclone Alfred is a testament to their dedication.”
This visit highlighted the strength of our supply network and the commitment of our people in keeping projects moving—no matter the conditions.
