Success as second cohort of graduates complete Leading Safety program

Say hello to the latest graduates of the Leading Safety program being rolled out across InfraBuild. Cohort two was made up of frontline leaders across our sites in Victoria.

The Leading Safety program is designed to give our leaders the practical tools, competency and confidence to effectively manage health and safety on their site. 

The program runs for six months and includes a blend of classroom sessions, self-directed learning and social learning support through Workplace.

This is the second cohort to graduate the program, with the first cohort from our Newcastle Wire and Newcastle Rod Mills graduating in December 2023.

During the graduation ceremony for cohort two, each participant was invited to share learnings gained through the program and then applied in the workplace. Steven Antolovich and Daniel Murphy also spoke about the opportunities the graduates have to help InfraBuild continue to drive a culture of effective risk management with a basis of trust and care.
